Identity Revealed: Jesus is the Son of God in glory

Jesus was a real human being, and when he taught his disciples, that's just what he looked like. 
 

But one day atop a high mountain, Jesus gave his disciples a glimpse of his glory as the Son of God. For just a little while, Jesus' face shone with glorious radiance. His clothing reflected God's glory.
 

After he came down from the mountain with his disciples, Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem to suffer and die. There, atop another mountain, he poured out his blood for the sin of the world.
 

It is good for us to view Jesus in glory on the mountain. It prepares us for Lent, and it prepares us for life.
