Children meet by grade level in the classrooms of our school at the south end of campus.  Our trained and caring volunteer staff use the curriculum Enduring Word to teach the basic truths of God’s Word and the foundational accounts of the Bible. 

MUMs Bible Study

For mothers and their children under 2 years old

 

Mothers Understanding Mothers (MUMs) and their children under 2 years old meet in the preschool classroom for fellowship, encouragement, and the study of God’s Word.

Confirmation Class

Sundays from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM for non-ELS students

Confirmation class is intended for baptized members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church who are in 7th and 8th grade and desire to become communicant members of the congregation. The primary materials for this two-year intensive study of God’s Word are the Bible, Luther’s Catechism, Growing in the Word, and Growing in Grace.

During this class, teens can ask questions about what the Bible teaches, how to apply it to their lives, and what is going on in the world. The discussion is guided by Christian adults who care about them and their well-being.

These pastor-led, discussion-driven Bible studies include both topical lessons as well as in-depth study of individual books of the Bible.  Each has a friendly and encouraging environment where everyone can feel safe to ask questions and participate in meaningful discussion about God, His Word, and how it applies to our daily lives.

Bible Basics Class

 

Our pastors offer these classes at least twice a year. Speak to one of them to get a schedule of when the classes are being offered. Bible Basics takes about 15 sessions to complete. You will enjoy a lively discussion with other participants about the basic teachings of the Bible and how they apply to our lives today.
