Join us this Christmas at Emmanuel
I bring you good news of great joy:
Today a Savior has been born to you.
He is Christ the Lord.
Do you find life’s responsibilities and burdens to be difficult, sometimes overwhelming, even scary? Do you find it hard to do the right thing all the time? Do you worry about your mistakes? Are you afraid of illness and death?
Many religions offer help, but it’s all self-help. Try harder! Do better! But following rules doesn’t fix our mistakes. Trying harder doesn’t get us closer to God. Doing our best doesn’t make up for past sins.
We don’t need a helper. We need a Savior.
At Christmas we celebrate the birth of our Savior.
Jesus came to keep the rules for us, as our perfect substitute. He took upon himself the penalties for our failures. He lived, died, and rose again for us—not just to help us but to save us.
We invite you to join us at Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. Jesus is God’s gift to you—not just a helper or teacher, not just a mentor or preacher.
He is the Savior we all need!

Volunteer for this event
On Saturday, December 17, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. This event will be a way to serve the families of our congregation. The kids will have an opportunity to learn about Jesus' birth. The parents will have an opportunity to do some of their Christmas celebration preparations. This will also be an event to reach out to our community. We will need at least 22 volunteers for this event. If you want to serve kids by sharing the love of Jesus with them, we would be happy to consider your participation in this service opportunity.
