Pastor Bart Brauer
"The Lord is my light and my salvation" (Psalm 27:1)

Pastor Brauer arrived at Emmanuel in 2014 when he accepted the call to serve as lead pastor at Emmanuel. He graduated from Northwestern College in 1995, and then received a Master of Divinity degree upon graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1999. His first assignment was to supervise dorm, teach, and coach at Martin Luther College in Minnesota from 1999-2001. From 2001 to 2014, Pastor Brauer served in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There he worked with a group of Christians to form a new mission congregation. Pastor Brauer and his wife have been blessed with seven children.

Pastor Justin Gran
"Whatever you do, do it with all your heart, serving Christ."

Pastor Justin Gran arrived at Emmanuel in 2014, after graduating with a Master of Divinity from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He enjoys working with people, and he shares his talents with the congregation as coordinator of Emmanuel's youth and outreach programs. Pastor Gran likes working with his hands and especially enjoys woodworking. He and his wife, Emily, enjoy living in Arizona, with all of its opportunities for outdoor living. He and his wife have two children.

Pastor Jon D. Buchholz
"Christ's amazing love to us compels us to share his love with others."

Pastor Jon Buchholz has served Emmanuel since 2005. Pastor Buchholz has served congregations in Wisconsin and Washington, but Arizona has always been his home state. He graduated from Arizona Lutheran Academy in 1982, Northwestern College in 1986, and he earned a Master of Divinity from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1990. Pastor Buchholz serves as President of the Arizona-California District. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and camping, woodworking, and applying technology to ministry. He and his wife, Sandy, have four children.

Pastor Daniel D. Pautz
"One of the things I like best is being with Christian people and serving them."

Pastor Daniel Pautz has shepherded Emmanuel since 1968. He has watched as God's mighty hand of grace has brought Emmanuel from a small, start-up church to the congregation of nearly 1,000 members it is today. He presently serves half-time as visitation pastor. Pastor Pautz graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1967 with a Master of Divinity degree. He enjoys gardening, hiking and sports of all kinds, and also loves to travel with his wife, Ingrid.
